ESTUDIO AIA has carried out various under and overpasses in urban projects, taking care in these simple structures of the finishing details and the quality of execution. As an example, the underpass extending the current Paris Street on Europa Avenue in Toledo that connects to the roundabout located on Madrid Avenue, at the north entrance to the city of Toledo.

The structure was initially configured using reinforced concrete slab supported on concrete abutments. The detail of corten steel sheets attached to the faces of the abutments was designed for texturing these lateral planes as well as deterrents against graffiti. Over time they have shown their effectiveness.
